Hud Homes are Government Repossessed homes which were once sold with FHA insured financing. Many people look to HUD homes for both their first time residence and/or investment homes. While most HUD homes present opportunities for getting some fairly quick "Sweat Equity", they are sold completely "As-Is", with no warranties from HUD. I've assisted many people find HUD homes which fulfilled their personal needs and helped them select the properties which gave them "Instant Equity" upon closing. You must use a HUD approved Realtor to make an offer on a HUD property, and the Realtor must fill out all 20 pages correctly or you risk losing the home even if your offer was accepted.
