Similar to HUD homes, VA Repossessed properties are homes that were sold on a VA loan, and for one reason or another the buyer wasn't able to continue making their payments. The Government then repossessed the property and has listed it for sale to the public. You do not need to be a veteran to buy a VA repo. The homes are often sold a bit under market value, with the opportunity for people to make some instant "Sweat Equity" after closing. For those who are handy and don't mind a bit of fix-up work, these make great homes for first time homebuyers or investors. All VA Repossessed homes are sold "As-Is".
